If so, come join our award winning team. South Dade KIA of Homestead is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Service Advisor to join our growing team. The Service Advisor initiates automotive services and repairs by determining performance problems and services requested, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer rapport and records.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Obtain customer and vehicle information, clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by customer and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicleDevelop and prepare accurate cost of materials, supplies, and labor and calculate customer’s paymentPrepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required, obtains approval signatures, and enters RO into service databaseBuilds and maintains customer rapport by explaining estimate, answering customer questions and concerns, obtaining and providing contact numbers, providing expected return of vehicle, and arranging towing and temporary transportation as applicableOversees quality control and technicians working on customers’ vehicles, including their time management / efficiency, parts ordering, and job completion timesParticipate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as applicableREQUIREMENTS :
