USD Head Start is hiring for an Early Head Start Home Visitor position. Position will work from the Tea, SD office and travel in northern Turner and Lincoln counties to complete weekly visits in homes of expectant women and children ages 0-2 with program vehicle provided. EHS Home Visitor will also assist in weekly Play and Learn Sessions held at the Tea office site. Requirements include bachelor’s degree in social work, education, counseling, nursing or other closely related degree and some experience working with young children and families. This position is eligible for the full benefits package which includes health insurance, paid holidays, accrual of annual and sick leave, life insurance policy and matching contribution to the SD retirement system.
