Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety and order within the facility by enforcing DOC policies.
- Conduct inmate counts and searches, monitor access, and control movement within the facility.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fights, or security breaches.
- Escort and transport offenders when necessary, adhering to DOC security protocols.
- Complete documentation and reports, communicating clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is 18 years or older, with a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. This role is suited for individuals who:
- Are calm and observant, with the ability to stay alert for extended periods.
- Can work effectively within a team and follow the chain of command.
- Have strong communication skills and can work respectfully with a diverse population.
