This is a Full-Time position with the Bureau of Human Resources and Administration - Building and Grounds. For more information on the Bureau of Administration, please visit https://boa.sd.gov/.
This position cleans and sanitizes floors, walls, and furniture in offices and institutional buildings on the Capitol Complex to meet sanitary regulation levels and enhance the appearance of the buildings.
Working hours may vary depending on the project load and assignment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Knowledge of:
- institutional cleaning techniques;
- cleaning equipment and machinery;
- cleaning chemicals and their uses.
Skill to:
- operate machinery.
Ability to:
- read and write;
- follow instructions;
- be on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift;
- lift up to 50 pounds.
This position is eligible for Veterans’ Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
