Assistant Professor of Public Administration
The Department of Political Science at the University of South Dakota invites applicants for a tenure-track position as assistant professor of public administration. This is a nine-month, full-time appointment.
Responsibilities :
- Teach in our NASPAA-Accredited Master of Public Administration (MPA) program and our online M.S. in Administration (MSA) Program.
- Ability to teach in the areas of undergraduate statistical reasoning and / or politics and administration of state and local government.
- Maintain the expected workload of six courses per academic year, with potential releases for service or research productivity.
- Possess a commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring within the context of a strong liberal arts program.
- Share in the work of a vibrant department and apply his or her professional expertise in the service of the university, community and discipline.
