Dakota State University is seeking applications for a full-time facility worker. Primary responsibilities include custodial care and minor maintenance of multiple buildings on campus as well as set-up / clean-up of events at Dakota Prairie Playhouse.
The position will be scheduled Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour workday and a flexible start time of either 7 : 00 a.m. or 8 : 00 a.m. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Responsibilities :
- Floor care mainly vacuuming and mopping but could include scrubbing, waxing, and shampooing carpets.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Collect and remove trash from building.
- Dust and wash walls, woodwork, and windows.
- Remove snow from steps and sidewalks near buildings.
- Painting and moving furniture.
- Set-up and clean-up of campus events.
