We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our medical team. As a vital part of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff in an outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in patient service, physiology knowledge, and medical procedures, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
**Responsibilities:**
-Prior Authorizations
-Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including documenting patient information and updating electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of or currently enrolled in a medical assisting program.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Strong patient service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
