In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking service for their boats and watercraft. You will be responsible for effectively communicating customer needs to the service team, providing estimates, and ensuring a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Speak to customers and assess their service needs, providing knowledgeable and friendly assistance.
- Document service requests and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates for service and repair work.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of services.
- Communicate service updates and timelines to customers throughout the process.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain an organized service area and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote service offerings and drive customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in marine technology or business is a plus.
