What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Medical Assistant position at South Florida Internal Medicine?
This position requires a medical background with previous experience in a similar position in a medical practice as a requirement. The medical assistant will be responsible for rooming patients (Clinic days) in a fluid and timely manner, completing charts, verifying the chief complaint for the visit, performing vital sign checks, injections, and EKG's as needed or requested by the physician. They will also complete any MIPS/MACRO necessary charting. In business days without patients, main tasks is to answer phone calls that include scheduling patients and taking prescription refill requests.
