What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rover Position position at South Florida Security Group?
South Florida Security Group is looking for a Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills and previous surveillance experience. This person should have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and a superb attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Conducting routine patrols of the entire property, including parking areas, common spaces, restricted zones, and perimeter areas.
Monitoring for unusual, unsafe, or suspicious activity, and responding promptly to incidents.
Checking for security breaches, such as unlocked doors, open gates, damaged fences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Inspecting parking areas to enforce parking rules and regulations, identifying improperly parked or unauthorized vehicles.
Issuing parking violation notices or warnings as required, and documenting details such as vehicle descriptions, locations, and license plates.
Reporting and documenting incidents, hazards, maintenance issues, parking violations, or other property concerns using established reporting procedures.
Responding to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, assisting in evacuations or securing areas when necessary.
Interacting with staff, tenants, and visitors in a professional, helpful, and courteous manner.
Providing support to front desk, gatehouse, receiving when needed.
Ensuring that all areas, including parking lots, remain orderly and secure, enforcing both safety guidelines and property rules.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Security guard D License.
- Bilingual
