Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
- Utilize AppFolio software for managing property records, financials, and tenant communications.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Prepare and manage lease agreements, contracts, and necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate files related to property management activities.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain current ones.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
- Strong administrative skills with experience in contract management.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective tenant interactions.
- Ability to manage conflicts efficiently while maintaining positive relationships with tenants.
- Knowledge of relevant laws governing property leasing and management practices.
