South Fork Property Management is currently seeking a Construction Contract Coordinator. The ideal candidate would assist with construction contract documentation, tracking, compliance, and management. Manage various projects to ensure accurate, complete, and timely results and other various tasks as assigned. SFPM has over 150 properties in eight states. The properties include convenience stores, offices, fuel/oil distribution facilities, and large student apartment complexes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand construction contracts, documentation and process, lease agreements and other legal documents and ensure that terms and conditions are followed.
  • Manage document control for Payapp locations, lien waivers, RFJs etc. and maintain construction files.
  • Build/maintain construction schedules and track compliance with the schedule.
  • Set up vendor accounts and coordination.
  • Ensure timely payment of all vendors and manage vendor relationships.
  • Experience with commercial construction processes, bidding, permitting, budgeting, tracking and closeout.
  • Experience with construction management software.

Work Environment

  • Typically work is performed in an office setting.
  • Frequent visits to work sites. Working around equipment, machinery, and vehicles may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required

  • Two or more years experience in Commercial Construction, Property Management, Operations Management, Maintenance Management, Contract Management, or related activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
  • Adheres to the companys values and ethical expectations
  • Able to effectively multitask.
  • Understanding of facility systems and maintenance.

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree in construction or business or a related field.
  • Experience with environmental compliance for convenience stores.
