POSITION SUMMARY The Administrative Director of Oncology Services at SGMC Health is the lead administrator of the clinical portfolio of oncology services across the system. This critical leader ensures the financial stability of this key service line, leads system integration, and partners with clinical, and operational leaders to drive positive results and outcomes in the cancer space. The Administrative Director will have a strong strategic orientation and will lead program planning, and development and the growth agenda for the service line. This is a highly collaborative leadership role, working in a dyad partnership with physician leadership, and carries a broad array of strategic, and operational responsibilities within the SGMC Health Pearlman Cancer Center.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES •Bachelor’s Degree required with Masters Degree preferred. •Health Care Leadership: 8-plus years of experience in healthcare management required, with a demonstrated understanding of trends within cancer services and a track record of leading in this space. •Leadership in Cancer Care Operations: Proven leadership within an accredited Comprehensive Cancer Center. •Strategy and Growth Acumen: A track record in leading the development and execution of key growth initiatives in the cancer space. •Matrixed Operating Environment: Demonstrated success building and leading teams
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION •Must be physically and emotionally fit to work in a stress filled environment to meet deadlines and deal with routine and crisis situations. May have extended period of sitting, walking, and standing. Requires varying hours of duty to provide monitoring, educational and/or crisis handling, as well as travel to off campus locations in hospital or personal vehicle.
