POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Reporting MIPS Coordinator/Quality Analyst is responsible for assessing processes and practices for regulatory reporting and conformance to quality standards in the EHR and coordinating the MIPS for all SGMC operated medical offices. Leads and assists in the development, measurement, and evaluation of clinical systems and processes which improve efficiency, quality of care, and health outcomes. Works closely with department leaders and key program managers. Works with Providers, office staff, quality and IT leaders to implement improvements. The MIPS Coordinator/Quality Analyst will perform a variety of job functions as they relate to the CMS Program, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of clinical workflow and healthcare technology. The Quality Reporting MIPS Coordinator/Quality Analyst is responsible for mapping quality measures in the EHR and building, maintain and validating all data on the EMR dashboards for reporting.

- Comfort working directly with clinicians
- Strong healthcare background
- Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and various EMR’s
- Understanding of MIPS requirements
- Associate degree or previous equivalent healthcare experience required
- Ability to multi-task, set and maintain workload priority to ensure department deadlines are met on time or in advance of target date
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Deal with diverse situations and people at all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work for several team leaders and diverse clientele a must
- Must properly control the release of proprietary and confidential information
- Obtain Epic certification within 3 months
- Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Business setting, indoors with possibility of irregular hours and/or call back, moderate to heavy stress on a continued basis. Required to work flexible schedule in order to accommodate on-call and other responsibility including accessing system from out-of-campus to analyze/resolve system problem/halts. Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays on occasions during conversion of software/operating system, or installation of enhancements/hardware, or to meet deadlines. Require full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye and hand coordination. Requires standing, walking, and sitting for periods of time. Requires corrected vision to acceptable range. Requires lifting, approximately 50 pounds, transporting and installing computer equipment. Must have valid driver’s license. Possible exposure to blood and body fluids, including infectious diseases.
