You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.What you’ll do at work Both a logical, methodical approach to work, along with a practical and physical requirement. One day could be investigating and diagnosing a network fault, and the next could be installing a CCTV camera from a cherry picker.As technical support, your key role is to maintain and operate the systems we use every day, along with implementing and improving systems and procedures as the role progresses.With 5 main sites in the UK, the job varies greatly between them. A Standard contains a list of the skills, knowledge and behaviours an apprentice will need to have learned by the end of their apprenticeship.These include : CommunicationIT SecurityRemote InfrastructureDataProblem solvingWorkflow managementHealth and SafetyPerformanceThis will include Functional Skills in maths and English, on completion of your End Point Assessment if you do not have a Level 2 or equivalent qualification. Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.During your time on the apprenticeship programme, you will also be expected to complete and document 20% off-job-training.
