We are looking for a certified medical assistant with a warm and outgoing personality who has the ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all background. The responsibilities of this job will require both front and back office duties. We require someone who not only can work under pressure but also accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant designation
- Proficient in medical administrative support and EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Experience in patient care, including vital signs and intake procedures
- Familiarity with dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine
- Background in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including trauma centers
Responsibilities
- Provide medical administrative support, including managing patient intake and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Assist in patient care by taking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Support dermatology and urgent care services as needed, while ensuring compliance with basic life support protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff in various settings, including outpatient clinics and trauma centers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
