What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time SHE Little Panthers Childcare Provider position at South Hutchinson Elementary School?
The Childcare Provider assists the director in creating and providing a nurturing environment for children in a safe and caring setting. To accomplish these tasks, the Childcare Provider works closely with the director and administration of the district. This is a 2.5 hour a day, 12 month position, working 3 pm-5:30 pm
Qualifications:
- Has to be 16 years old or older.
- Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the central office (after employment offer is made).
- Desire to continue career improvement by enhancing skills and job performance.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to assist in keeping all children safe and make sure their needs are met.
- Ability to assist with everyday needs, may include but not limited to feeding, dressing, and diapering.
- Ability to discipline children who are misbehaving.
- Ability to communicate developmental or safety concerns of children.
- Ability to react to change and frequent interruptions in a productive and positive manner.
- Ability to work with different ages of children (birth to 12 years of age) at the same time.
