This position will be contract with the possibility of regular employment. Position will initially be in the office each day but could transition to a hybrid role.
The Recruiter is a highly visible role responsible for managing the full cycle recruiting and onboarding process of physician recruitment in a fast paced, high-growth environment. This position will work collaboratively with leadership to identify staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies and provide guidance on industry trends. Successful candidates must be able to strategically and creatively source while establishing and maintaining relationships with leadership in order to drive the execution of Talent Acquisition programs and initiatives. Successful candidates must be able to strategically and creatively source while establishing and maintaining relationships with leadership in order to drive the execution of Talent Acquisition programs and initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing expectations for the full-cycle recruiting process; consistently communicating expectations, feedback, and status information to candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders throughout the selection process. Clearly and accurately communicate the company’s employee value proposition to potential candidates. Clearly articulate the job duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits to candidates
- Partner with Hiring Managers and Physician Recruitment Committee to create talent acquisition strategy for identifying qualified external and internal talent. Screens, schedules and conducts interviews to ensure their qualifications meet open positions
- Actively engages with radiology residency and fellowship programs with universities and colleges throughout the country
- Manages internal and external postings. Uses creative posting techniques to attract key talent. Builds talent pipeline by seeking out new and creative ideas to source candidates through social media, networking, resume mining, outreach efforts, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other advertising method
- Coordinates and executes the administration of diversity recruiting efforts
- Oversees all pre-employment requirements (e.g., background investigations including reference checks, drug testing, etc.) to ensure compliance and proper applicant tracking flow and records maintenance
- Maintains and ensures accurate candidate documentation and follow up. Utilizes analytical skills within the ATS to generate various metrics and reports for management review, coordinates offer letters
- Effectively facilitates the onboarding process and conducts new employee orientations, as assigned
- Proactively seeks knowledge of both industry and functional specialty researching market trends, best practices, legal developments, emerging trends, technological advancements and benchmark comparisons, recommends HR practices that are best in class
- Conduct project work supporting business and HR initiatives
- This position may travel 10 - 20%
- At least 2-4 years of full cycle, physician recruitment experience in a healthcare setting required
- Previous experience recruiting physicians at the residency/fellowship level with universities and colleges preferred
- Private equity and/or M&A experience a plus
- Must possess experience creating effective recruitment strategies including creatively sourcing passive candidates through networking, internal referrals, job postings and social media and other innovative technology channels
- Must have strong interviewing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Must be self directed and have the ability to work independently and use critical thinking to problem solve as situations arise
- High degree of organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage expectations of a diverse set of high profile internal customers
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law as it relates to recruiting and onboarding employees
- MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ATS programs
- Ability to travel up to 10 - 20% if needed
