Job Description: The Customer Service Representative at South Jersey Water Conditioning, Inc. plays a vital role in facilitating the efficient operation of our departments by performing various clerical and administrative tasks. They are essential in maintaining organized workflows and facilitating effective communication within the company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
· Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
· Provides exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
· Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
· Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
· Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
· Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
· Maintains filing systems as assigned.
· Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
· Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
· Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in related field preferred.
· Three to five years of experience in an administrative and/or customer service role is preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
· Ability to work independently.
· Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
