Position: Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Specialist
Location: Bridgeton, NJ
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 10:00am
Reports To: Office Manager and /or Owner

South Jersey Water Conditioning is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Part-Time HR Specialist to support daily HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
* Assist in posting job openings and screening resumes.
*Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates.
*Conduct new hire orientations and ensure proper documentation is completed.
2. Employee Relations & Compliance
*Address employee questions regarding policies and benefits.
* Assist in handling employee concerns and escalating issues as needed.
* Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
3. HR Administration
* Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
* Assist with payroll preparation and tracking time-off requests.
* Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
4. Training & Development
* Help organize employee training sessions and development programs.
* Track training completion and maintain records.
5. Other HR Duties
* Support performance evaluation processes.
* Assist in company events and employee engagement activities.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
Qualifications :
Education: Associates or Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 1 years in HR or administrative role preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of HR policies and labor laws.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Work Schedule & Benefits:
