Registered Nurse, Circulator
The Operating Room is a dynamic environment that requires a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse. Located on the second floor, our OR consists of 6 suites, an Endoscopy suite, a Pain Management suite, and a Cystoscopy suite. We serve patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and offer elective services Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Additionally, we provide emergency and urgent care services 24/7 through an on-call system.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and other members of the surgical team.
- Assist with preparing patients for surgery, including administering medications and providing emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
- Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications required for certain areas.
- 2 years Advanced Critical Care experience required.
