RN, Acute Care- South Lake Hospital- MedSurg- Nights
Administers patient care in an acute care setting where patients receive active treatment for injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions. Facility: South Lake Hospital, Location: Clermont, Florida, Type: Full-time (variable shifts), Shift: Night shift (7pm-7am)
Responsibilities:
- Assesses patient needs and develops/revises individualized care plans based on patient responses.
- Evaluates patient progress toward expected outcomes.
- Respects diversity by building respectful relationships with team members and customers.
- Functions as a patient advocate.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-specific care.
- Serves as preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.
- Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintains clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Prioritizes patient care in accordance with Evidence-Based Practice Standards of Care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Meets mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements.
- Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- May require additional certifications depending on the area.
