Cottage Grove High School is searching for an assistant softball coach who shares and is committed to :

Recognizing all levels of athletic achievement through the celebration of improvement. Advocate for all participants to attain an opportunity for athletic participation, physical fitness, health, well-being, and champion's attitude.
Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Provide guidance to all levels of Cottage Grove Softball, including youth and summer program
- Effectively analyze and teach the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport
- Work with the head coach to plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate practices session along with develop, implement, and evaluate game plans and strategies
- Serve as a leader, mentor, and role-model to the student-athletes of the program
- Experience playing or coaching softball (baseball unfortunately does not count as softball)
- Confident in an ability to teach fundamentals
- Flexible work schedule that leaves M-F open from 4-7pm and can adapt for away games and early games during the week
- Ability to potentially coach the JV softball team
Compensation
Compensation will be granted according to the current salary schedule.
