Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the IT department, including networking, cybersecurity, VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and more.
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and data.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure.
- Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team and other departments.
- Monitor and evaluate IT performance metrics to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT team.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand and address IT needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards specific to Higher Education.
