Overview
The Revenue Cycle Manager plays a critical role in managing the financial processes associated with patient care. This position involves overseeing the entire revenue cycle across all SLENT locations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to improving billing accuracy, collections performance, and payer relationships.
Duties
- Lead and manage day-to-day revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting, A/R follow-up, and collections
- Collaborate with clinical, front office, and administrative teams to ensure accurate charge capture and timely reimbursement
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including denial rates, days in A/R, and net collection rates
- Identify trends in denials and underpayments and implement corrective actions
- Train and support revenue cycle and billing staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations
- Work with EHR (EMA/ ModMed) to improve workflows and reporting
Skills
- Strong understanding of ENT and allergy billing codes, modifiers, and payer guidelines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software (ModMed experience is a plus).
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interaction with patients and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to revenue cycle management.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during the billing process.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in revenue cycle management.
- At least two (2) years of management/supervisory experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $79,816.00 - $92,364.00 per year
