What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compost- General Labor/Compostaje position at South Mill Champs?
The Compost General labor position supports the composting operations in Phase 1 in the basic functions of tunnel preparation and sanitation, equipment operation and quality monitoring.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learning and developing skills in the operation of the distributors that fill the tunnels with compost, and in the operation of forklifts and filling equipment.
- Checking the compost for moisture and quality before, during and after flips.
- Clearing and cleaning tunnels in preparation for re-filling.
- Prepping straw and hay bales for processing in the mixing line.
- Communicate with the Manager and Supervisors clearly and effectively.
El puesto de Trabajo General de Menuda que respalda las operaciones de Fase 1 en las funciones básicas de preparación y saneamiento de túneles, operación de equipos y monitoreo de calidad.
Responsabilidades del Trabajo:
- Aprendizaje y desarrollo de habilidades en la operación de los distribuidores que llenan los túneles con compostaje, y en la operación de montacargas y equipos de llenado.
- Comprobación de la humedad y calidad del compostaje antes, durante y después de cada vuelta.
- Orden y limpieza de túneles en preparación para el rellenado.
- Preparación de fardos de paja y heno para procesar en la línea de mezcla.
- Comunicarse con el Gerente y los Supervisores de manera clara y efectiva.
