Summary :
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, ensuring that all electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs are conducted in accordance with national, state, and local codes.
Responsibilities :
1. Compliance and Safety :
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant electrical codes and standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and best practices.
2. Installation and Maintenance :
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage systems, transformers, motors, and control systems.
3. Supervision and Training :
Mentor a team of maintenance staff.
Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in electrical systems.
4. Project Management :
Plan and coordinate electrical projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
5. Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, inspections, and installations.
Prepare reports on electrical system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
6. Emergency Response :
Respond to electrical emergencies, troubleshooting issues promptly, and implement repairs to minimize downtime and safety risks.
Schedule : Monday thru Friday
From 7 : 00am until 3 : 30pm
Occasional overtime or emergency response may be required, including off-shift and weekend work.
