South Mississippi Regional Center is a program of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health providing care and support for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking individuals who are energetic and compassionate team players and motivators for direct support positions at all of our locations. Each position at South Mississippi Regional Center is an important and impactful role that provides our individuals with the appropriate level of care to meet their social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
First-level supervisory position accountable for professional program planning and management for a treatment sub-unit or multiple residential locations. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation or treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Supervises direct care staff.
WORK LOCATION: Long Beach
PAY: $31,744.97 Annually
SCHEDULE/SHIFTS: 1st shift: 6:00 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. Rotating days off.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation. Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED/Transcripts); AND 3-5 years of direct care experience with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
