Description
South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family: we bottle our own milk and make our own butter, yogurt, and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 24 years and counting! Over the years, we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. We are currently hiring a Production Associate.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
- Beginning of shift machine assembly & production startup
- Make sure code dates and plant code are legible on all bottle caps
- Assist machine operator with equipment and product changeovers
- Assist machine operator with end of day tear down & machine cleaning
- Assist in gathering supplies/materials for production needs
- Willing to learn our CIP (clean in place) system
- Operate the bottle washing machine
- Operate the butter machine
- Operate the filler machine
- Follow SOP’s and GMP’s to ensure product quality
The shift for this position is Monday – Friday, with a start time of 5:00 am
