Job Summary:
The Site Manager will lead and optimize the dock/warehouse, delivery, and production operations facility in Chambersburg, PA. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless operational processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving efficiency to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of dock/warehouse, delivery, and production.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high standards of productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop management team and operational staff to achieve performance goals.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory management and transportation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality control standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance workflow.
- Work closely with Director of Operations to align operational goals with company objectives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Meet with the operations management team weekly to ensure the team is empowered to lead effectively.
- Remove hurdles and roadblocks to cultivate team success.
- Manage manpower and hiring needs to ensure appropriate staffing in all departments.
- Cascade information from the executive leadership team to operational staff.
- Support growth and mentorship in the operations teams.
- Act as a communication liaison between Chambersburg and our Headquarters in Middletown, MD.
- Identify areas for improvement to achieve operational efficiencies.
- Foster communication and support with Quality Control to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Lead team engagement to foster a culture of positivity.
Assist with implementation of EOS processes with the operations management team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successfully managing site operations in a multifaceted environment.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, manage, and hold accountable operations teams.
- Driven individual to take ownership of site operations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast paced, high volume production environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 3 years in a senior site leadership role.
- Strong leadership history managing teams of 30-50 employees
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
