Pay: 80k to 90k deepening on experience
Shift: Mon - Fri 8-5 pm

South Mountain Post Acute, a 5 Star Medicare Rated Skilled Nursing Facility located in the heart of South Phoenix, is looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing to help grow and expand our clinical excellence. ADON will report directly to the Director of Nursing that has over 8 years of experience at the facility. One of the primary roles of the DON will be to lead and grow this ADON into a future DON. Our Company is part of the largest SNF operator in Arizona and there are plenty of opportunities for growth from this position.
The ADON will assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the clinical team. He/she ensures that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Additionally, the ADON will assist with staff development and training. This will include assessing, developing programs and executing staff training.
Our facility recently underwent a facility renovation and expanded our clinical capabilities by opening an airway program in our sub-acute unit last year. Experience with vents/trachs a huge plus.

The applicant must:
- Currently be Licensed/Registered in the State of Arizona. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse license in good standing throughout employment.
- Two years geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Must have and maintain CPR certification and have a valid Fingerprint Clearance card.
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department.
- Must be able to preform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to; nursing care, supervisory responsibilities, infection control, patient rights and safety & sanitation.
- Will assume the duties of the DON in their absence.
- May need to provide direct nursing care as necessary.
