Position Summary
Summary: The Patient Care Associate (PCA) is a specially trained member of the Nursing Department who provides assistance to either the RN or LPN in delivery of selected aspects of patient care. The Patient Care Associate understands and complies with the Philosophy, Standards, Objectives and Policies of the Department. The Patient Care Associate obtains blood specimens and assists in other tasks as needed.
