Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. Responsibilities will include cleaning, maintaining, and ensuring the overall upkeep of designated areas, as well as managing laundry services efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in both residential and commercial settings.
- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments.
- Assist with floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Support custodial efforts by ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance is advantageous.
- Skills in floor care techniques and residential painting are a plus.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions is essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
