South Peninsula Hebrew Day School (SPHDS) is hiring a Facilities Coordinator who is in charge of the following aspects of the 200 student, 4 acre school in Sunnyvale, CA;
Manage the school’s kitchen and custodial staffs and its contracted night cleaning crew and security guard; Hiring scheduling and supervision of facility-related vendors; Interface with renters such as camps, and Sunday schools; Coordination of all access to the school’s campus; Keeping the school in compliance with kitchen, fire and safety rules; Making sure that security camera, access controls, internet, phone and copy machines are in working order; Management of facility- related grants, and purchase of non- educational materials.
Critical traits include a friendly and flexible attitude to both adults and children, problem solving skills, stick-to-it ness, commitment to enable the school’s teachers to deliver to be highly effective, being reachable after hours by text for time-related issues, and cost consciousness.
Salary: $80-100k, 75% of health insurance, 50% of dental; 403b, FSA and Vision offered.
