Job Overview:
Looking for an experienced, motivated and friendly dental assistant to join our team! At least 2 years dental assisting experience is preferred. Eaglesoft experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions and applying sealants
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records

-Keep up on equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow in the office
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assistant program preferred
- X-ray certification required; CPR certification preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform basic patient assessments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
