The South Portland Puffins Ballpark Operations Intern will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ballpark, including concessions, merchandise, and game flow. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the ballpark operations team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of the ballpark for games and events
- Manage concessions and merchandise sales
- Ensure the ballpark is clean and safe for fans
- Work with the marketing team to promote upcoming games and events
- Represent the Players' League and the South Portland Puffins in a professional and courteous manner
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effectively works independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds
- Passion for baseball and the Players' League
