Essential Job Responsibilities
The Sales / Business Development Manager will develop and implement strategies to drive sales and business growth. This position will :
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives identifying target markets, customer segments, and potential opportunities for expansion.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations and build relationships with potential clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to foster business growth.
- Actively seek out and acquire new clients for the company's recycling services. Conduct market research, lead generation, and cold calling to identify and connect with potential customers.
- Understand client needs, provide solutions, and address any concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients that highlights benefits and value of the company's recycling services and differentiate them from competitors.
- Ensure contract terms are clearly defined and met by both parties.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential threats to refine sales strategies and stay ahead in the market.
- Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and present sales data to management. Analyze sales metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, marketing, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and business development efforts.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships, stay updated on industry developments, and promote the company's services.
