South Roanoke has an immediate opening for an Admissions Director. The Admissions Directors mission is to build and grow census by developing the market and providing prospective patients/responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance in choosing a nursing home. The primary responsibility of the Admissions Director is to develop relationships with a growing base of referral sources, leading to a consistent flow of quality referrals.
Marketing & Admissions Specialist Qualifications:
- BS degree in marketing or sales with emphasis in healthcare or related field (work experience or field work in social services will be considered in lieu of college degree.
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Experience in marketing or sales
- Be willing to travel overnight occasionally
- Ability to communicate effectively with various types of people, both orally and in written format
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge of admissions/marketing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing admissions / marketing functions in a long-term care facility
- Organization skills
- Ability to review current marketing strategies and use that knowledge to develop new and improved marketing goals independently and insightfully
