What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager (REPOST) position at South San Francisco Unified?
Under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities and Safety, the Construction Project Manager provides technical and construction project management support services in connection with school site improvements, modification of facilities, and new construction projects. The Construction Project Manager assists in the preparation and review of project plans and specifications; coordinates, plans, and directs the work of others; inspects projects; and prepares all documentation required for the successful completion of projects under his/her supervision. The SSFUSD community includes 15 schools supporting 8,000 students in Daly City, San Bruno, and South San Francisco. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• A high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Graduation from a two or four year college program in Construction Management or the equivalent experience.
• Six years of experience in a lead or supervisory position in the building construction/maintenance industry.
• Two years of experience in construction/maintenance specification writing and/or preparation and supervision.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATION:
• Must maintain a valid California Driver's License and the ability to be insured.
• A California Contractor’s License or the equivalent is preferred.
Salary : $133,908 - $159,705
