Hotel Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong customer service skills to address various maintenance tasks across our residential properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Fabricate and assemble components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep.
• Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with contractors when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents by addressing their maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and general repair techniques.
• Experience in residential painting and general construction is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.
