BASIC PURPOSE: This job is a full-time, seasonal position, which consists of four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days a week performing daily duties necessary to the operation of the Marina.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for efficiently handling guest check-ins and guest check-outs on resort's
computer system.
2. Responsible for opening/closing of day's marina business, and accounting for all
cash, resort charges, and credit card transactions, including security of cash bank
and marina keys.
3. Responsible for the safety and operation and disbursement of any fuel products and
all fuels in the Marina.
4. Assists management in inventory and inventory control, i.e. oil stock, fuel levels, and
the daily accounting of fuel reports.
5. Responsible for discrepancies in dispensing fuel, either gasoline or diesel, to our
marina customers either through carelessness or negligence.
6. Responsible for changing of fuel filters as required.
7. Responsible for cleanliness/organization and reporting of maintenance problems of
Marina to enhance safety, neatness and freshness including all company vessels.
8. Assists the docking and placement of all vessels in the marina and assists the proper
security of their berthing.
9. Encourages and enhances multiple resort sales. Uses suggestive selling of Marina
and Ship's Store products and resort services and amenities.
10. Responsible for covering any shifts of the marina operations in the event of
personnel illness, no show, vacation, etc.
11. Participates in training programs and exercises in order to perform according to
South Seas Resort standards at all times.
12. Must follow marina and resort general rules.

Knowledge and Skills:
Education: Required - High school or equivalent. Boater Safety Training
Experience: Previous experience working in a marina environment helpful.
Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to make change and handle all cash, resort charges and credit card
transactions.
Must possess thorough knowledge of FCC VHF Radio rules and regulations.
