In conjunction with the Banking Center Officer, proactively promotes the Bank’s products and services to existing clients and prospects, ensures superior client satisfaction levels and assists with the daily management of the branch. Supports efforts of the Banking Center Officer in leading and developing the team to sales, service and operational success.

QUALIFICATIONS
Supervision of Senior Personal Banking Advisors, Personal Banking Advisors and seasonal tellers as designated for their branch.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory experience required. Experience with electronic delivery channels including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking/Mobile Deposit, eStatements, Bill Pay, etc. is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Under the general direction of the Banking Center Officer, assists with the daily management of the branch to include overdraft management, vault management, branch schedules, the opening and closing of the office, and other such duties.
- Takes responsibility for ensuring that the client consistently receives an exceptional experience with every interaction focused on identifying and providing solutions to help client’s reach their financial goals.
- Oversees the branch and branch employees when the Banking Center Officer is away from the office.
- Understands all aspects of the retail incentive plan and is responsible for achievement of personal sales goals while proactively guiding the sales activities of the platform staff toward achievement of branch goals.
- Ensures proper controls are maintained over all branch operational processes and regulatory and audit requirements.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of all business and consumer products and services provided by the Bank while acting as a resource to others in product knowledge.
- Proactively identifies, reports and resolves client issues to ensure a positive client experience from the identification of an issue through resolution.
- Displays a high level of professionalism and acts as a role model to employees by bringing positive energy and confidence to South Shore Bank every day.
- Actively demonstrates technology and self-service channels by promoting ITM, online banking and mobile banking solutions.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales and service goals.

- Ability to build relationships and strong alliances across the organization.
- Ability to quickly learn all details about the products and services offered by the Bank and must retain and build upon product knowledge base as a member of the division’s management team.
- Understands key banking basics around profitability and revenue growth.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years retail banking experience preferred.
- 2 years of supervisory experience required; experience in retail banking environment strongly preferred.
