Reports to: The Director of Learning Services
General Responsibilities
•Support the diversity of the student population through cultural and family engagement and the inclusion of diverse learners throughout the school.
•Support the philosophy and mission of the school.
•Work collaboratively with colleagues to see all students as part of a single team and values the importance of cultivation of school culture and respectful interactions.

•Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
•To meet the professional expectations as outlined in the Employee Guidelines and appointment letter.
•COTA's are expected to review, understand, and implement the Learning Services Policy and Procedure manual under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
Professional Duties and Responsibilities
•Attendance is expected as requested of the following:
Faculty meetings
Level/department meetings
IEP/504 meetings if needed
School sponsored professional development
•Provide direct services for students with disabilities according to IEP or 504 plan, and state and federal regulations.
•Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations relative to special education.
•Comply with all documentation and paperwork standards relative to state and federal laws and regulations for special education.
•Provide support to classroom teachers for the delivery of service for students.
•Aid in the supervision of students at all times.
•Participate in Team meetings, as necessary.
•Assist in Program Quality Assurance audits, as needed.
•Participate in hearings, as needed.
Salary : $43,346 - $55,885
