South Shore Early Education, a South Shore Community Action Council program - a private non-profit providing multi-level program support on the South Shore, Wareham, Cape Cod, and the Islands, seeks a full-time -Teacher Preschool, 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year in Plymouth. Schedule 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. Base hourly rate with CDA-$24.00/hr., base hourly rate with AA/AS $25.00/hr., base hourly rate with BA/BS $27.00/hr.
POSITION: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using creative curriculum. Creates and maintains a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students. Perform teaching activities that align with the Head Start Performance Standards regulations. Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring, and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications:
Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC certification in Preschool is required. CDA, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in early childhood (or related field) degree preferred. Must be able to speak and understand English. Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole and Arabic are helpful, although not required.
