EMT

At South Shore Health, we come together to improve the health of our family, friends and neighbors by bringing together people, caregivers and excellence in medicine. We are seeking a part-time EMT to join South Shore’s Ambulatory team. In this position you will respond to non-emergency and emergency calls and provide pre-hospital care and safe transportation to appropriate facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Complete all necessary documentation for each call

· Ensure emergency vehicles are ready for use at all times

· Perform BLS assessments

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license

· Current BLS and EMT-B certifications; Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced or Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic preferred

· Ability to interact effectively and professionally with patients, hospital personnel, emergency service providers, fire department personnel and the general public

· 1 years of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician preferred
