Description of the Role:
The Automotive Technician A and B level at South Shore Kia is responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer specifications. This role requires a strong knowledge of automotive systems, excellent technical skills, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems. Salary based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles
- Perform diagnostic tests and identify mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts
- Complete vehicle service and maintenance records
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certificationÂ
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
