What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Tech position at South Shore Marine?
- Safely transports and moves boats and equipment as assigned, using Fork Lift
- Follows all safety and compliance regulations
- Keeps the lot clean and organized as instructed by management
- Professionally maintains and cleans equipment as assigned
- Completes all other tasks as requested by management
- Supports technicians in completing tasks as needed
- Reports any damages or concerns about the boats or equipment to management
- Valid Driver’s License, Fork Lift Training
- Exhibits a positive and energetic appearance in the work environment that contributes to the Sales and Service team members’ objectives
- Proves reliability and discipline by following all time keeping rules
- Demonstrates attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed
- Appropriately demonstrates the proper use of equipment to customers as needed
- Promotes team attitude and supports other team members, departments and locations to insure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, delivery, and subsequent servicing of the boat
- Preserves the professional image of the dealership through organization
- Safely moves boats and equipment as instructed
- Supports service department operations to maximize tech efficiency
- Positive interaction with all team members
- Experience driving fork lifts, Attention to Detail, Follow directions
- Lift 10 lbs infrequently, Standing, Climbing, Constant use of Hands, Outdoors
