We are seeking an experienced Estimator with 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in the architectural millwork industry, specifically with Innergy software experience. The Estimator will be responsible for generating accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of millwork projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural millwork, excellent analytical skills, and advanced proficiency with Innergy software to create precise and comprehensive estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for a variety of architectural millwork projects.
- Use Innergy software to generate material quantities, labor estimates, and cost breakdowns for millwork projects.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure all requirements are captured in the estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure the accuracy of estimates and bid submissions.
- Source and liaise with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information and determine the best material options for cost-effective solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of project bids and proposals for clients, ensuring estimates are competitive and accurate.
- Continuously track and update material and labor costs to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions.
- Monitor project budgets and provide support in value engineering to optimize cost savings without compromising quality.
- Ensure all estimates align with company standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized files of estimates, bid documents, and project-related correspondence.
- Aid in the process of building out and maintaining an accurate product library within the Inngery software, to assist in, and streamline the estimating process.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the architectural millwork industry.
- Proficient in using Innergy software for estimating, project management, and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of architectural millwork processes, materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Excellent organizations skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience with other estimating software is a plus, including, but not limited to, ProjectPak, Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite, and more.
