Seasonal: Part time Security (June – September)

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the safety and security of the facility and grounds during performances Enforces show specific rules and guidance

· Operate metal detecting devices to screen individuals and calmly prevent of prohibited articles

· Monitor, assess and evaluate situations to determine appropriate response in coordination with security staff and management

· Investigate disruptive, unsafe or suspicious activities, warn persons of infractions and escort violators if needed

· Learn and prepare to implement emergency evacuation protocol

· Monitor entrance and departure of all persons for safety and guard against theft

· Maintain security of restricted areas and circulate among venue to preserve order

· Submit concise and accurate incident reports in a timely manner for irregularities

Qualifications:

· Experience in dealing with crisis management, handling complaints and disputes and knowledge of proper procedures to promote effective security operations

· Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people including management and peers

· Courteously and respectfully handle security issues

· Reliable, responsible, and dependable

· Formal public safety, event safety, or crowd management training and experience a plus

· Due to the nature of our business, all employees must be fully vaccinated

Physical Demands/ Working Environment:

· Must be available for show dates in the Season, from June - September

· Able to lift 50 pounds

· Prolonged periods of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and climbing stairs

· Ability to work outside in varying temperatures, fast-paced and often loud environment

· Reliable transportation to and from work

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
