The successful candidate should possess a passion for the geriatric population with a desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their recuperative experience.
Job Description
- Completes assessments and implements Respiratory technique to maintain or rehab patient with many different Respiratory illness/diseases.
- Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
- Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
- Experience with tracheotomy
- Experience with ventilators
- Completes assessments and implements Respiratory technique to maintain or rehab patient with many different Respiratory illness/diseases.
- Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
- Complete a variety of bedside treatments
- Attend applicable IDT meetings
- Performs related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
- Licensed in the state with practicing BLS certification.
- Experience is a long term care setting.
